Bricks and Scones is a coffee shop on Larchmont Boulevard that feels like a flexible neighborhood spot carved out for both casual catch-ups and focused solo mornings. Its layout offers a mix of seating—from a spacious, partially shaded front patio facing the street, to a cozy indoor café area, and even an upstairs nook. This variety invites regulars to settle in whether they’re here for a quick coffee or a few hours of remote work or studying.

The coffee itself stands out, especially the lattes with approachable but nuanced flavors like the sea salt caramel latte or the large vanilla iced latte. Beyond coffee, their all-day food options add a thoughtful touch for anyone looking to stay longer. The assortment of house-made scones—ranging from matcha white chocolate to fig and rosemary—draws attention, providing a satisfying accompaniment to the drinks. Many lean toward classic combinations, and the baked goods are clearly a crowd favorite.

Bricks and Scones also serves a small but varied lunch menu centered around fresh salads, hearty sandwiches, and warming soups, with highlights like mango curry chicken salad and a vegan tomato soup with quinoa. Portions tend to be generous, making it a practical stop for midday meals that won’t feel like mere snacks.

Parking is easier here than at many nearby spots, thanks to a sizable lot, which can be a real convenience for visitors who drive. The vibe blends comfort with a slightly rustic, unpretentious charm—wood accents, lots of greenery in the garden seating area, and natural light in the patios. It’s the kind of place where people come to read, work, or enjoy a relaxed conversation without feeling rushed.

The mix of seating options suits different moods and group sizes, from solo visitors with laptops to pairs sharing a sandwich or a few friends gathering over coffee and pastries. Weekday mornings and early afternoons, especially when the patio gets filtered sunlight, seem to offer the best atmosphere for soaking in the local rhythm.

In a neighborhood dotted with coffee shops, Bricks and Scones stands apart with its emphasis on quality coffee paired with thoughtful, straightforward food, coupled with a setting that balances lively neighborhood energy and quiet corners alike. It’s a steady choice for anyone wanting a mellow, adaptable place to pause on Larchmont Blvd.

First of all, they have a pretty big parking lots! Perfect for parking!! And there are many seats both indoors and outdoors. Good vibes. Good for remote work, study and reading books. If you look at the name here, you'll know, the scone is really good. And this chicken breast sandwich was good as well. I would recommend sourdough for bread! This sandwich is quite large so you can share it with two ppl.

Love the seating choice - bright patio street side or cool, dark interior - very cool place. We drove 4 hours to get there (in search of Ireland/UK quality scones) - which were, in my opinion, just OK with a vast variety of choices. Overall, a delightful experience

Stopping by Bricks & Scones was the greatest way to start my week! First, they have endless seating options from the giant front partially shaded patio to the cafe, side patio, and upstairs seating! The staff was super friendly and helped me sort through their large menu. Coffee tea and sweet treats available in addition to sandwiches salads and soups. Highly recommend this Larchmont Gem

I had a wonderful Wednesday! The coffee was so tasty- sea salt caramel latte! It’s little bit sweet at the bottom, make sure you mix them well! The Chicken sandwich was delicious too and a good portion:) We also had one matcha scone, fig scone and earl gray scone!!

In a neighborhood full of cute coffee shops, bricks and Scones might be my favorite! Super chill with lots of seating in the garden area amongst plants and trees. Great place to study, read, of hang out. We didn’t try the food menu, but the scones were delicious. The lemon blueberry was our favorite!

The perfect European-themed cafe / study spot. I feel like a modern day Belle studying and eating at this cafe. The cafe has two stories. Both have ample seating. First floor’s temperature is a lot cooler and there’s a nice breeze (good for the summer heat). The second floor is more stuffy, but it is quieter and more individualized so you can focus on work. There’s plenty of NICE seating outside too, where you can work or chitchat. The menu is very diverse ranging from drinks to whole meals. I always get their bottomless iced tea which is around $7, and you can refill it however many times you please. I’ve had their earl grey scone (couldn’t taste much earl grey but you see the tea leaves in there) and matcha white chocolate scone with jam and butter - solid 3.5/5. I’d get it again because it’s simple and easy to eat. I also tried the breakfast quesadilla which was pretty good 4/5! For lunch later, I tried the chicken pesto sandwich was really delicious 4.8/5. Their side of salad is pretty yummy too. Their menu is very captivating, and I definitely want to come back to try more. Parking is street meter parking. Service is very friendly. Atmosphere is perfect.
